Brand new Intel NUC computer & Viewsonic 24" flat panel LED monitor set up by an IT provider. These items are unused & unopened (NUC only opened for installation of operating system & software).
The Intel NUC (Next Unit of Computing) is a next generation computer system, meant to replace the traditional desktop. It's small footprint packs a punch, as it's smaller yet faster than a traditional desktop, and runs on a fraction of the power. With a combined power usage of 63W for the Intel NUC & Viewsonic monitor, where a traditional desktop and monitor would run on a combined 300-400W, these items effectively pay themselves off within 12 months on power saving alone.
System will be pre-installed with Linux Ubuntu 16.04 LTS (Long-Term Support), a free operating system perfect for basic internet browsing, email access & access to cloud services, OR Microsoft Windows 10 (Windows 10 Home OR Professional license is an extra cost). If you have checked to see if your softare is compatible with Linux Ubuntu, I would suggest this as it is a free operating system.
